Hi. I'm new here and to be honest, after reading some threads about surround music files, I felt compelled to join just so I could share some of the music I've created in the .ac3 dolby digital format. Here is the link to the site.

Another update AUG 1, 2013. Added another song (Toxic BadDazZ) to website. Link to the page is in the original post. Hope any of you that are downloading the music are enjoying it. I've got nary a comment, but oh well.

Update - Sept. 2, 2013. Uploaded latest 5.1 surround mix of song 'VoxMoxMe' and 'Cat's Meow'. A total of 16 songs mixed in the Dolby Digital .ac3 format are available for free download at my site.

The biggest reason that I chose Dolby digital would be that I presently own software that does .ac3 encoding, so if anything, it's economic.

If you're interested, I can recommend a free audio encoder called LameXP. It's able to generate multi-channel DTS encodes using its DCA option

Windows Media Player supports .ac3 playback with a plugin. I'm not sure that's the case with DTS.
